I wonder how many of you do what do? Need the house to be perfect before you leave?
A quick trip to see family and I go crazy trying to get everything done. For me to leave town means I go into hyper drive! I want EVERYTHING clean. EVERYTHING done. EVERYTHING neat. So when I return at least I walk into a clean home. (Although within 5 minutes of being home we will be back to hyper drive to get EVERYTHING back in its place!
Today, I have completed....
7 loads of laundry
3 loads of dishes
5 kids packed (3 are on their own)
8 shirts ironed (why? because they WILL be wrinkled by the time we get there!
4 rooms cleaned
3 bills paid
Nearly forgot to feed 3 kids lunch (no worries the toddler was fed)!
Took daughter to Physical Therapy
2 boys to tennis
Drove to airport and returned rental car from husbands trip
Took a shower and have now painted 10 toes and 10 fingers!
Now I have to wait for these things to dry! Why do I find the need to polish? I am completely EXHAUSTED! And yet, the need to get my nails done was top priority! I'm gonna see family and lets face it, this is a girl thing!
I am guessing I am not alone in my walk to have a perfect looking home before I leave. Or the fact that after a long busy day I will still find time to polish a few nails along the way!
What are my chances the little boys will not destroy the house before we go?

How did you find time to blog? I do the same thing. There is just something about knowing you are coming home to a clean house that makes coming home from vacation ok.
