Wonders why my world has to stay in constant motion? How is it that we have family in town, parents moving out, leadership training at church, birthday parties, ultimate Frisbee tournament, friends in town from Alabama, friends in town from Houston, board meetings, more ultimate Frisbee, soccer, 40 day fast, meeting for upcoming graduate daughter, switching kids bedrooms, all in one little bitty weekend?
I am behind on cleaning, laundry, school, bills, laundry, cooking, planning, laundry, sorting, organizing, laundry. Did I say laundry already?
Because even though I have a system around here for WHO does laundry WHEN, apparently it won't get done if mom is not managing it like a drill Sargent in my free time!
Did I mention that going on a 40 day fast and being on day 18 with all of this going on, well, that equalled me calling a time out on the fast. I cracked...couldn't take it! Not easy having this many people around and fasting. I prayerfully hope I can jump back in soon. For now, I am living one day at a time.
Toddler has moved into destruction mode so blogging is over.
Maybe one day we can take a vacation around here. Haven't been on one in quite a few years and I am beginning to think I need one!
Thankful my God is a gracious God and I will accomplish what I can. So if I am late, behind, or have forgot...I hope you understand. Well, one line too many in my post because the jewelry box has just been dumped!
