Thanksgiving a Family Affair

Having Thanksgiving at this stage in life is such a joy! I think this is one of our first years we have not been with any other family members except for our own immediate family. We missed everyone else but had a joyful time on our own. It was a calm fun day of everyone pitching in to help with various food prep! It was fun having the kids old enough to step in and help.

And the usual Thanksgiving day events of football, laying on a couch, and a few laptops.

Of course the traditional rocking a baby to sleep tops them all!

I get caught up in everything else that I forget to take pictures. But we did get a few and thankfully we captured dad before he carved the turkey! It was incredibly delicious and moist! We were well please with our family turkey!

I thought to capture the table before we ate but forgot to get everyone sitting at the table. We started a new tradition here in our home. We purchased some fabric and bought some pens and if you enter our home during Thanksgiving celebration you will sign our table! I look forward to capturing many years of signatures in the Williams home!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to YOU!
We hope you find the end to 2009 to be a sweet time with family and friends as we enter the season to celebrate the birth of our Lord!
